Gas smell at a Minneapolis heater flex — utility first

A faint odor at a basement heater flex is a gas line call after the house is safe. A strong odor is leave-and-call-the-utility. We do not soap-bubble a live basement while people argue about it.
House-side of the meter is our scope. The meter is the utility. New range drops and failed inspection flexes are quoted after we see BTU load. We do not leave a live uncapped line.
